clues from different times behind to taunt fate. Kirby, the 90s girl, survives
his attack and turns the hunt around. Tracing Harper’s bloody trail of victims –

Desmond Tutu signs children’s bible deal

Posted on 12 August 2009 by Phillipa Mitchell

desmondtutuNobel Peace Prize-winner reverend Desmond Tutu has signed a book deal for an illustrated children’s bible, following a two-book deal announced earlier this week.

Sam Richardson, head of religious publishing at Collins, bought UK and Commonwealth rights to the provisionally entitled Children of God – Storybook Bible from Mary Clemmey at The Mary Clemmey Literary Agency, on behalf of Lynn C Franklin in New York. The book features 56 Bible stories, retold by Tutu. It will be published in May 2010.

Richardson said: “Tutu is a truly inspirational man, and I think his retelling of these bible stories will inspire a generation of children.”

The former archbishop has also signed a deal with Rider Books’ publishing director Judith Kendra, again via Clemmey. Made for Goodness explores his view that people are fundamentally good, while God is Not a Christian will be a collection of Tutu’s speeches and sermons. They will be published in May 2010 and 2011 respectively
