I'm going through a Jim Crace stage. Reading everything by him that I can get my hands on. What a genius. Just finished Genesis, and just started Signals of Distress. I should probably stagger him and read something in between, but I can't help myself.

In the last two weeks I have reread the whole Twilight saga, read all the House of Night books and currently reading The Host, also by Stephenie Meyer, so far so good.

I’m actually trying to get through Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkein. I only say trying because I find myself without enough time in the day, or over weekends! Perhaps I’ll be able to concentrate on it this weekend!

Finally got round to reading the Twilight saga - reaffirms my view that the books are ALWAYS better to read than the movies - they left so much out in the movie. Stephanie Meyer just brings the characters to life and gives a whole different picture and feel to that of the movies. Also reading "Treasured Writings of Kahlil Gibran" excellent....and of course still getting through "The Discourses of Rumi" seriously heavy reading but the philosophies still apply even in this day and age and comforts me that wisdom can still be found in the most obscure places in this insane world.

I am listening to the audio book “The E-Myth Revisited” by Michael Gerber. Every person who has their own business- no matter how small or how large – should read this book.

I always thought that the book had something to do with e-commerce because of the “E” in “E-Myth”, but upon reading the book I realised that the “E” stands for “Entrepreneur”. The book is all about the myths surrounding what is really involved when you start your own business, and the pitfalls that every entrepreneur is going to encounter if they don’t set their business up with the correct structures from day zero.

Every business can learn from the author’s pearls of wisdom and make the changes they need within their business – so that they have the time to work ON their business. A fabulous read and highly recommended.
