Not that I think it will ever completely replace paper books. But to be able to read downloaded books, blogs, etc, and long interesting emails, in bed, would be the height of decadence to me. Didn't you love Wilde's line in A Good Woman/Lady Windermere's Fan : America is the only country that went from barbarism to decadence without bothering to go through a civilisation phase.
